What an odd thing for a guy without a picture to ask. Are you thinking of getting one up?

Being called Jason and insisting we held off meeting until Friday 13th should have been a clue I guess

We met a couple whose pic was a very moody, retro, black & white job. We thought 'Isn't photoshop fookin marvellous. Wonder how they did that?'

Turned out it was an original taken on VE Day in 19 fookin 45. Bought them an Ovaltine, made our excuses and got them a cab back their sheltered accommodation!!!!

Quite a lot in the past, now i only meet if i have seen them on web cam, exceot about 4 weeks ago i met a guy who didnt have a cam but sent me pics, turned up and i was just shocked at how much he didnt look like his pic, i went home and re looked at them, you could tell it was in, just, but how someone can look so different in real life is beyound me

In the past i met a couple where she sent a pic where she had long blonde hair and was slim, when i turned up her hair was short and dark and she was about a size 20 when i questioned this he tood me they was 15 years old!

And i met a asian guy who was white on his pics lol

Years ago I met a guy who had used his mate's photo.

He wasn't even the right race never mind age or height.... 6'2'' my arse, he was 5' nothing.... I'd have slapped him if I didn't have to stoop so low.

Sometimes it ... no joke... cos they wear clothes when you meet them... simply don't look the same...

We have not really had that experience, ok, some people lie about their age or height or weight... or display pictures that show them in the best light, but at the end of the day that is an insecurity and they could still be really nice people?

Photos are what makes me decide whether I'll meet someone or not. I always meet socially in a public place first.

At a rough guess around 90% have not looked like their photos: they haven't done them justice, gorgeous men, but two spring to mind that were truly awful.

The first one said he was 5ft 9, too short for me but he had a nice voice, erudite and charming. In his photo he had a shock of chestnut hair and a nice smile. The man that waddled to meet me was around 5ft 2 tall and wide, bald with tufts of grey hair over his ears! awful!

The second one looked like a younger Robert Redford, 6ft of loveliness. A cross between Bruce Forsyth and Albert Steptoe turned up!

I wouldn't dream of meeting someone without a photo, but recognise what I see isn't necessarily what I'Ll get!

Sounds like we have had the same people walk in. One we didn't recognise at all as he didn't look at all like his picture. It must click at some point that it never progresses far using inaccurate pictures.
