"Good luck with that, I have to stand the cat carrier up and force them in backwards well I do one of them. Try putting some treats in it"
If I put the carrier on the floor and open the door, one of mine wanders in of his own accord.
The other has to be lifted in but doesn't fight.
I love Raggies. They're the most laid back cats ever! |

Mum's cat is a stray she's adopted, it's a street fighter and goes for the fleshy parts... |

Get it near the door of the carrier, making sure the door is open, chuck a towel over it and bundle it into the carrier whilst it's still disorientated.
Feliway on their blanket can help keep them calm but it sounds like your mum's might need something stronger. Like chloroform. |

I started having to use a dog cage for one of mine, who is normally soft as shite but turns into pure evil when you try to get him in a cat carrier.
The other one gets shoved in backwards while the carrier is stood upright on its end, so I have gravity to help me. |
