I have seen this stated by a lot of couples on here and cannot help but wonder... who decided you are a hot couple... there seems that there really are loads of them on fab.. dont get me wrong if you think your that hot fair play but lets be honest how vain do you have to be to publicly announce it... or is it just me that finds the vanity a complete turn off?? |

I think they say that based on the no of fabs they get, admiration by many and maybe no of messages that request for meets but then I think it's still vanity which can be admired by people rather than rubbing it on people's faces. |

I'm all for a good sense of self-worth but most step over the line into arrogance .
The best one is when it says "dirty couple" and you look at their pics and think "how fitting is that title" when you can see how grimey and greasy their hair and skin is even on a dark webcam shot lol |

I'm all for confidence but there's confidence and then there's arrogance...
I do get thrown off by profiles and invitations that state "hot couples only". - How do you know if you're classed as hot or not?
(or is that why people keep starting those bloody threads?). 
Plus, we get put off by people who place a lot of importance on looks, so either way, I guess it's a lucky escape on both sides... x |

I think it's just down to advertising your profile, no different to the ads in the papers years ago. You need to state your qualities to make the deal do you not? And if you don't "big up" yourself who is going to do it for you?
It's not the kind of thing I'd say about myself, because I'm a gorgeous yet modest sex goddess, but everyone's an individual! |

Case in point: We know a couple on here (acquaintances in every day life) who havent had a meet for well over a year, and its not for lack of trying......Its because they think they're too good looking for the singles or couples who message. They are a good looking couple, but ofcourse thats down to personal taste again. They are expecting body builders with page 3 models on their arms to be clamoring to meet them, but they don't seem to have grasped the fact that they are not necessarily everyones cup of tea, and that they might even be considered to be unattractive to some people!!
Narcissism is a huge turn off to both of us!!

Couldn't agree more with Juicy and Jay. Received a message telling us how fortunate we were to get a message let alone a wink because of how fussy they were. A very attractive couple but a very ugly message, in our opinion of course. |

This is about two different things though, isn't it.
There is nothing wrong with considering yourself to be 'hot', or attractive...in fact, self-confidence is often appealing in itself. It's entirely subjective, after all.
On the other hand, thinking that you are so fabulous that you think it gives you the right to treat others in a rude, ugly or disrespectful way is something quite different. |

And just because someone looks like a body builder/page 3 model, it doesn't mean they're looking for the same.
Everyone's tastes are different. I'm a big girl, and yet many men (and some women) seem to want to meet me. Yet how often are we told that fat is unattractive?
I find a fun personality much more attractive. Yes, looks play a part, but if all you are is a gorgeous face and good body, no thanks. |

The other way to look at it is that these people will probably only receive messages from members who themselves think they're god's gift.

I totally agree, sorry - I was using those stereo types as an example, but of course beauty is subjective and what I actually meant (and should have articulated) is that they are expecting to easily be able to pick out a couple that is their ideal and that they think meets their standard, because ofcourse its a ridiculous idea that anyone would possibly say "thanks but no thanks" lol.

I have no problem with a bit of vanity as long as it's bathed in reality.
One mans confidence is another mans arrogance.
If a couple think they're 'hot' and are getting what they want, good for them. If they're not getting what they want then that will soon give them a better understanding of where their real mercury level is! |

take us as you find us - we dont advertise ourselves as anything - the pics and text provide enough for the initial attraction and we go to the clubs and meet people there - we got more than enough people to contend with - |
