Far too cold to be out on the bike just yet but I am excited for when it warms up a little.......it's easier for me because my OH is my windbreak so I am cosy tucked in behind him |

Thought this post was asking about Bikers, not 'motorcyclists'.
Ask a motorcyclist how he/she prepares for winter and they will go on about putting it away and cleaning it,blocking the exhaust, keeping it dry etc.
Ask a biker and they will tell you how they put fuel in and ride the bugger all year!
I have a pig ugly K75, still riding! |

Exactly - only one of mine goes away and thats more to do with the fact she tries to kill me as much as how far away from standard she is.
The other two get ridden regardless. |

Done the riding in snow with visor up as breath froze on inside and made it impossible to see. Now fair weather but biking is about the freedom, passion and desire..don't need to ride the bike daily for those feelings |

Couldnt agree more. Got a nice big, cozy car with heated everything for the winter. Our bikes are just for relaxing days out in the summer - I am past the age of needing to put up with the discomforts of riding in the cold. |

Never been into Harleys or customs, although when my previous bike got reversed into and ran over borrowed my sisters Suzuki intruder shaft drive for a week and enjoyed,so I brought one myself had it for a year, just not fast enough or scary enough, except the part when coming to break and praying to god its gonna stop. |

"Been out on my Vulcan 900 today in the mountains in brilliant sunshine bit chilly but great ride out
"
Was riding around Logrono in the hills there a few weeks ago. -6! Didn't really feel it though in the sun. Just if you went through a part with high cliff shading the road. Cracking over there though. Sun makes all the difference. Hardly any traffic up there either. Then back here to riding in the hail and sleet. |
