Yes you could be but it could just be you don't have anything in your life that makes you happy. Think about what would make you happy and do something about it. |

"I had a conversation y'day which got me thinking... I'm never happy not unhappy either could I be depressed?"
To be honest if you had clinical depression you would know. No harm in talking to your GP though. |

Do you feel like you're missing something? If you're perfectly happy to continue as you are, but other peoples lives have made you question yourself then maybe you should think about why?
Might be you're just contented or don't have anything in particular you want from life. Could be you have some kind of trauma or syndrome that stops you from feeling anything? Dunno you really, you have a think about why you feel this way. |

Unlikely if you never unhappy either, if the scales tip though, might be time to get a second opinion.
Speaking as someone who knows, don't spend time analysing it, guaranteed route to disaster.

Are you looking to change? Are you locking your emotions away for some reason?
There are times when I have been neither happy or unhappy but I have been heavily medicated at those times.
What did happy feel like for you and when was the last time you felt like that?

You are happy by virtue of the fact that you are not unhappy.
Happiness is what ever shape an individual considers it to be .... it's none specific , like love.
I'm serious minded it doesn't mean I am not content or happy with my lot.
The type of folk that irk me are the constantly gibbering idiots that shriek with laughter at a fart or a big nose. They project their 'happiness' so hard but fool no one.
And Disney characters...fuck me.. smiley , grinny little shites.
What did someone say to you yesterday to make you think you are not happy? |

Depression isn't the same as not being happy.
Depression affects people in different ways but in my experience it's a pit of black gloom. There's no point to anything. Nothing will ever be better. There's no way out. I've no energy and no motivation. |

I don't get long term feelings of happiness from anything other than sex. I can enjoy a film but once it's finished I'm back to feeling nothing. It takes a lot to keep my feelings of well being and euphoria |

More likely you are in a rut, avoid thoughts of clinical depression unless you are actually feeling depressed. Instead set some goals of things that will make you happy and chase them, often it's not even necessary to catch them as long as they are achievable and you are working towards them. |
