In 2 weeks time I (Bob) will be taking part in the Great North Run and will be raising money in aid of Breast cancer Research.
Mrs Red was diagnosed with Breast Cancer 5 years ago and has since received stering treatment via the NHS and is now 5 years down the line and is officially clear.
A few of us are doing the North Run on Sept 19th to raise money for The Breast Cancer Campaign and we are looking for a suitable logo to put on the back of our T Shirts ....
Imagine a half A4 sheet of paper ..
.
.
.
To the left we have a photo of Mrs Red, on the extreme right we have a 'Thumbs up' logo but in the middle we have a box which will allow about 3 rows of easily readible, large, text - probably 10 -12 words max ....
So - what should the text read ..
I suggested '5 Years Clear' but Mrs Red said that it didn't 'pack a punch' so come on guys gimme some help here what would you suggest for this worthy cause . |

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |
"
"Grim Reaper, piss off. We don't meet singles"
Now that's a gud un just wish we could get away with doing it pmsl"
How about an alteration - instead of the thumb on the right, have a V sign in the middle and a grim reaper pic on the right.
Same message, TV friendly... |

Still undecided - some great relplies but sadly not too many that could be displayed on the back of a running vest at a family event- 3 or 4 of them are shortlisted tho |

Thanks to all of you for your ideas. After lots of ideas and mind changing .. we finally came up with this ...
The photo of Mrs Red at the Edinburgh race for Life and the slogan as follows:
"I ran the race for life and have won the battle - Help us to help those who are still running"
Not long to ho now - lets hope the rain keeps away .... |
