Is it me, or posting legal notice sounds really silly? I mean, did anyone check if Sydney University is running such a project? And if Sidney Uni would use your profile, would you go in a public court to claim.... compensations???

Interesting viewpoint, maybe you should look at the way things are developing re revenge porn, and pro-active consent requiremenmts.

Why would anyone think to put a picture or details on the interwebs that they would mind being potentially pinched or used? Surely common sense dictates if you want it private, keep it private....

It's like writing on your valuables 'do not steal this, stealing this is illigal, and will bring about legal ramifications' as if it would stop anyone.

As for Sidney uni.....heck knows what that link is about....

surely me posting a pic of an ex without her consent is different to me willingly posting a pic of myself on fab

Imagine going to court and explaining the judge what parts and what pics they used for their research. Bring evidences too. And with such a trial, press could be present to make you famous lol

Perhaps it depends a lot where you take the picture from...

When i say "took" i meant take a copy of ANY pictures you have posted online somewhere and then i copy them around the 'net. Professional porn sites maybe. LinkedIn even.

Still happy?

You are right.

And it's a very welcome IQ test, the way I see it.
