"The first thing I thought was pickled onion monster munch and now I can't type any more as I'm too busy drooling.."
This cheese is sooo much better than that.
Creamy and smooth with beautifully sharp, tangy, crunchy bits of pickled onion.
Wonderful! |

I love peeling the mini ones but I'm not so fussed with the cheese itself. The cheddar one is ok.
I could happily sit and unzip the wax coats for ages though.

"I have an unopened jar of Haywards pickled onions in the cupboard,
need to keep them in the fridge for the crunch stops em going soggy "
Sod that - open them and throw in a load of mustard seeds and peppercorns then put the lid back on for a month or so.... |

I like (used to ) the gouda ones. Wasn't too keen on the goats cheese ones though. |

Anyone who loves Pickle Onions Knows it takes a while to get them cured
Heres a fast cook version
Take a few brown onions slice em , like you like to lay them on your food
half fil a jar with good sarsons brown vinegar
add pickling spices from any food store add a chilli just slice the skin dont chop it
seal in a jar two to three days in the fridge and just eat em .
top up as you eat moving the new to the bottom of the jar, youll never look back |
