I'd love my own private Zeppelin. R34KK, I'd call her and travel to meets, laughing at those stuck in traffic below me, as I set out 3 days in advance.

There's a nifty live version of Goin to California from Earls Court on You Tube:

The footage of Heartbreaker from that gig is something else too.

'Stairway...' from the Live at the BBC CD, one of the first times (possibly THE first time) they'd ever played it, so no-one knew it!

They were absolutely awful that day, Page was smacked off his tits, they'd rehearsed with Tony Thompson and then Phil Collins joined in too and it didn't work at all.

The interview afterwards is car crash TV (as was the performance)!

I have to admit, I do usually prefer studio versions anyway - I know every damn note by heart, my timing is great, and if even one changes while I am singing lead guitar it really pisses me off! lol!

Inspired by this thread I went and bought all the albums (that have been released so far) in hi-res (96/24), that were remastered by Page last year...they sound great!

That's it though, I'm never buying their back catalogue again!

LP's when I was a kid.

Then the original CD's.

Then both the remastered boxsets.

Then the Japanese SHM-CD's.

Now the hi-res versions of LZ through to Houses of the Holy.

I'm done now, other than the remaining albums in hi-res!

I'm gonna download a ton of SBD bootlegs now to even it up a little!
