Men are incredibly receptive to your compliments and/or attention, does this not dampen your attraction towards them? Knowing that all it takes is one flirty comment and you can turn their heads just like that?
I watch the behaviour of the men and women on these forums and it's plain for everyone to see that a majority of men crave attention from women, whereas the majority of women have a much more lax attitude in retrospect. Many men find this challenging behaviour rewarding because when the compliments are reciprocated, it's more of an accomplishment.
How do the ladies feel about this? |

Well, as a HETEROSEXUALWOMAN, I feel like I can tell the difference between fab online world and real world.
There's something to be said for playing hard to get and being a little bit aloof sometimes but really, on here, who can be arsed. In real life there's the thrill of the chase, on here if I got a hint of indifference I just wouldn't bother. Men accepting compliments readily doesn't make me think any less of them, it's the crawling, desperate and insincere scattergun approach to giving compliments out from some men that has that effect.
I'm not sure if I've answered the question you asked, because I'm not sure what it was, but there's my 10p worth anyway. |

In your first paragraph you're assuming this applies to every male on here which I don't believe it does. It certainly doesn't apply to me and that's for sure. |

From my own personal point of _iew, compliments on my body are likely to get the least positive reaction from me. Still happy to receive them, but it's always a case of "Well steady on, you haven't seen my face yet", so if they see my face and still persist with the same level of compliments, then I am truly flattered. The one compliment that trumps it all though is one for my profile/personality. That shows that someone has taken the time to look at me and appreciate the essence of my very being. |

Yes, bisexual women apply too. I only said heterosexual because it automatically suggests attraction towards men. |

Those men whose attractiveness to women is prone to reduction only have to utter a few words for it to happen. It matters not whether it is in relation to a compliment.
Assuming of course there was a level of attraction, if not, it just confirms undesirability |

Last time I checked bisexual women were attracted to both...
I rarely give compliments on here, but when I do they are sincere. I hate the comments about "you are gorgeous" when all I have on show is my arse... and likewise would never say that to anyone unless I actually see them in the whole as it were.
I may compliment someone on something they have said on the forum, or a great profile. |

If I've ever received a compliment on the forums I haven't noticed. I prefer my posts to be complimented, not me.
Of course I get plenty of compliments in messages. I have to take them with a pinch of salt however - I have one pic of my back, yet I am 'stunning', 'gorgeous', and have 'amazing pics'.
I wouldn't worry too much. Most women on here know the difference between a compliments and a thinly veiled plea for a shag. |

As a BISEXUALWOMAN I have no business posting on this thread other than to say I take compliments on here from people I have had no prior interaction with with a massive pinch of salt and compliments from others in the spirit in which they were intended, either genuine or as forum banter. Much like real life to be honest. |
