Up North :-)

What little things do you have to do or big things for that matter?

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

I don't know why I do it, but I tap the top of any fizzy drink can before opening it.

...as if any previous shaking will be instantly negated

I also peel labels off bottles while drinking...subconsciously.

I sniff things automatically, if if they are in bottles. Like sauce, for example.

All sauce smells like glass, strangely.

"I also peel labels off bottles while drinking...subconsciously."

You'll need to move that one into the "subconscious nervous tick" thread.

I'll join you there though!

Is that a separate thread again then?

Tell you what, we'll meet up in the Pedants thread and chat about it there!

It's unlucky to be superstitious and I always tap my shoulder when I say that.

Isn't that meant to be a sign of sexual frustration?

Allegedly, but I've done it immediately after a BJ in a pub toilet (dead classy, me), so either I'm insatiable or that's an urban myth.

You can be the judge....

I would love to be the judge of that and if I hadn't been so inconveniently inconvenienced last weekend I reckon I'd have liked to try...

Nah, can't be doing with other peoples opinions of others. I much prefer to decide for myself.

I have to have my mobile phone near me at all times; if not I get anxiety attacks!

I have to go back to check I've locked the front door, most mornings; as it hasn't got a Yale lock

I'm always locking my van, even if I'm going to be working about 10 feet away from it, lol

I won't live in a flat/house that has the number 4 in it.

It sounds like "Death" in Cantonese!

13 is good luck though.

I bless myself three times everyone I pass a church, prosession car with coffin, flowers at a place where an accident has been. And to far is every time I see a dead animal in the road.

I bless myself for there spirits and to honour them. Bit weird now I think of it. But always blessed myself from a young age an no rude comments please lmao.

Yeah it's slowly dawning on me that maybe this dance isn't as lucky as I had first thought. It does seem to make people run out of the bedroom, mind as I've previously stated I am also dressed like a pirate.

Some superstitions make sense though. The walking under a ladder is one if you believe or not don't you think?

it has something to do with the ladder, wall and ground making a triangle, symbolising the holy trinity.to walk through the triangle was seen as breaking the holy trinity and was blasphemous.

I'm a decorator,I do it all the time. fuck 'em

I thought it was because you had dobbins up ladders who might drop things on you
