BBC2 at 8pm. I wonder what ways Clarkson will find to be sneakily racist this time.

Great programme. May, Hammond and Clarkson will cause a giggle and tell us a bit about cars too.

What makes me laugh is all the people that hate it or take offence from it go out've their way to watch it

Went to see it being filmed a year or so ago - the banter between all 3 was great - they bounce off each other all the time and JC just breaks all the rules !

Even Clarkson knew that was a bad idea. He broke a £9,000 bike!

It's hardly a waste of licence payers money - it's the BBC's biggest worldwide export and makes them millions!

Personally I hate Eastenders - but I just choose not to watch it.

Give them a bigger budget I say. There's plenty more caravans out there that need blowing up!

It's the most viewed factual tv show in the world and earns the BBC millions. Hardly a waste when it earns more than it costs...

Obviously not since Top Gear is one of the most profitable programs the BBC makes.

Wind up the gramophone and put on your latest 78

That fact makes me despair a little.

Every time I happen upon watching it (usually round a mates house) I cannot believe that people can sit through something so unspeakably dull, presented by the midlife crisis three...

And I actually quite like cars, as it goes.

Laugh?

I can't even muster up the effort to laugh at them.

It's a simple sulition if you don't like top gear don't watch it, there are millions and millions of fans who do, I'm one of them, if you have sky or free view you have lots of other channels to pick from, might be rubbish on them but you have a choice to watch something else, I for one am glad it's back, I hope it stays on a very long time

Given the ratings this program gets and the fact that, apart from in France, Sundays program went out simultaneously around the world, the BBC are hardly likely to pull it.

It was on the BBC news website a few weeks back but Im not a mad fan by any means.

'Given the fact' the programme has caused problems over the various series. It's due to this and not the ratings that the BBC were talking about axing it.

Im quite happy watching Top Gear.
