Baked dippy eggs! In a big skillet pan with stuff like tomatoes, peppers, chorizo, cheese. Bloody lovely, and you can do it healthily too.
Something like this, but I tend to make it up as I go along: http://www.thelondoner.me/2013/12/dip-n-share-eggs.html |

Eggs are brill. I had a spinach and mushroom omelette this morning.
Often have hard boiled as a snack with a sprinkle of salt and pepper. And love a good fried egg sandwich as long as i've made it myself.
No idea how to make them more eggciting! Like them as they are.

Beat two eggs in a large bowl with a little milk and salt, dip bread in to cover both sides, remove and place in a hot frying pan. Fry until golden brown on both sides and enjoy. I love mine with red sauce.

Cheese on toast with a fried egg on top. Egg in the hole. Eggy crumpets. Poached eggs in tomato, chilli and olives served over pasta. And that's just off the top of my head.
Eggs are brilliant! |

Scrambled for me (Bo) these days, I like them with some chopped 'shrooms, tomato, spring onion, quorn or other fake meat stuff and either some chilis or hot sauce in there too.
My fav egg thing used to be the Dutch breakfast 'uitsmijter', which is fried eggs on very lightly done thick toast usually with ham (I used quorn), salt n pepper. That's heaven in a brekkie - then I stopped eating bread which kinda fucked that...it's delish tho. Do try it! |

I eat them most days, preferably hard boiled and chilled but try this to prevent your yolks breaking in the frying pan and for a quicker cook.
You will need:
-A curved bowl
-Some eggs
1.) Put your bread in the toaster.
2.) Crack an egg and syphon off the excess white a bit like you're trying to separate an egg, saving the yolk, and put it in the bowl and repeat for how many eggs you want to fry.
2.) Oil and heat your pan on medium-high, then slide the eggs in from the bowl.
3.) Butter your toast.
4.) Your eggs are ready with perfect yolks, no slimy underdone whites. |

Could use grilled field mushrooms instead of bread. |

Scrambled eggs with grated cheese mixed in before cooking.
Cheese dreams - 2 x slices bread dipped in 2 x beaten eggs. Put one slice in frying pan eggy side down, add slices of cheese on top and then put other slice of bread eggy side up in top. Turn occasionally til nicely browned. They are yum!
I made eggs mornay at school (many moons ago) which were really nice but no idea on the recipe lol

"Going to be making scotch eggs for lunch tomorrow. But I use a mixture of sausage meat, blackpudding and porcini mushroom before coating in breadcrumb.
"
Ooh, that reminds me - I tried an onion bhaji coated Scotch egg a couple of weeks ago. It seemed so wrong, but it was good.

" Yes we used to have some rhode Island reds they layed some delicious eggs we let them roam The garden one actually built a nest of small twigs a couple of Inches high And when they all went back in their Coope later in the day we had a white leghorn cockerel who showed his Authority whenever you approached his Domain after chucking in some chicken Pellets all was good and he lost his Interest in trying to show who was boss which was a good time to let the hens out and roam their droppings Could be Unsightly at times, but when brown rats moved into the garden to Scavenge what they could and breed as fast as they could the days of the hens were over (we also had guinea fowls) for a while but that was very Brief I think more down to the rats. |

"Duck eggs for a treat.
Goose eggs are amazing but have such a short season "
Not cheap either, I've never managed more than 1 at a time, plus they have a habit of not fitting in the egg cup |

Take an apple corer to a decent sized spud (don't go all the way through though), microwave it for 7/8 minutes then crack an egg in the middle,10 minutes in the oven and hey presto...egg in a chip. |

I thought I was being subtle. Too subtle it seems as no-one got the yolk, despite the fact it was cracking. I shell think of something eggceptional next time |
