I think so? You can only put the disk in one way due to the shape of the tassimo so i know im not doung that bit wrong? |

I've got the nescafe dolce gusto coffee machine and you can get a decent cup out of their pods, not sure what the tassimo ones are like in comparison though |

"We got dolce gusto. 1 milk pod & 1 coffee pod makes a mug with 220ml in it "
The tassimo does as well, the above need to turn the packet around and it will tell you what size coffee you will get. Buy the time you add milk (optional) the mug is filled, I would warm the milk first though. |

"Why is the cup of coffee so small. I know you can get different sizes but you don't get much coffee for your money... "
Its about 50p a cup, regardless of if you buy a small type coffee or a mug type coffee.

"Or 26p if you go for the x3 for £10.
Good value I think seeing as what your getting and how it was made
Lol at you working out price per cup "
I didnt, I just googled it and it came up in 'mysupermarket.co.uk' but I just didnt link it.
Other than the Hot Choc I think it's a great product but its vital you choose the right pods. |

"Would it be wrong to have two coffee machines "
No.
My Dad had 5 before I went and got him this Tassimo/Bosch one.
He still uses about 3 differnt methods to get a coffee though. He's found a small rubber bung to seal the pod so he can re-use them. He's going to break it but he wont listen |

"Get a Nespresso instead
Did you get yours for £30? (70% off)"
I got mine for £30..... Was great for a while, then I added to my guitar collection, better than the coffee machine. |

You can buy empty pods on flea bay that you can use to brew your own blends like the flavoured ones you see at specialist market stalls. |

"I have a cafetiere & taylors of harrogate fresh coffee! Bloody lush and less faffing "
Do you know how the pods work?
1. Fill the water container.
2. Put the pod in.
3. Press the button.
If by now you havent put a cup under the spout you dont deserve this machine.
Theres no faff to it, you can faff, but you dont have to |

I definitely find the Kenco Columbian pods work the best and give a big mug of coffee. I use normal milk though as prefer skimmed to the Tassimo pods.
Hot chocolate just doesn't work though.... some people say float the pods in hot water for a while to melt the chocolate but it's still shite!

Cafe Noire Expresso if it's instant but the Gaggia is normally always on here.
Choose the coffee, put it in, flick the switch and stop when you have the amount you want not how much a fashion accessory dictates.
It's basically a single of the machines in Costa/Starbucks and far better than pods.
When it 2 x bags for £5 in Asda and each bag does 30-40 coffees..... |

I had an all singing all dancing coffee machine but ended giving it away as not enough room on my work units.
I just use a caffiteir now and when I'm on my own milicano instant coffee.
Oh I have an espresso coffee machine as well must be in a cupboard somewhere |

Slave to an old style machine with steam frother. A bit of a faff but great at weekends in the afternoon
Use a tassimo for the one or two days of the month I goto the office and does full cup with just room for coffee. Get wrong pod though and it can be a small shot |
