Today, for the first time, millions of you will have the ability to use WhatsApp on your web browser. Our web client is simply an extension of your phone: the web browser mirrors conversations and messages from your mobile device - this means all of your messages still live on your phone.

you dont need a code scanner app
just open Whatsapp on your phone, got to the menu and select Whatsapp Web which will open a camera view then scan the QR code and it automagically logs you in

Oooer!!That's gonna be great for downloading files direct from the computer without having to load them onto the phone first. Does it all just shut down and go off when you turn the phone off? |

No, stays logged in on the puter until you log it off/close the browser window |
