Best was good but the above and more were better, they played on the world stage not just in Europe or the UK..

I can think of another Red who's better than the pair of them - he's currently plying his trade in Madrid.
Never saw Best play other than archived footage but he did look pretty special.
In the modern era I would have Schmeichel and Keane above Cantona but yes, Cantona was fantastic. |

That's a bit harsh on the rest of the Leeds team. Cantona only played 15 times for them that season. It was a mistake to sell him to Man U but if he was so instrumental to Leeds why did they so readily sell him ? |

Yes hard to handle true like so many good footballers their physicie or mind is geared up to Let go of agression a lot on the blink of an eye like roy keene for Instance In a little confrontation, with the ref,s these days they would,nt stand a Chance they can get booked for the Least thing Its always refreshing to See a footballer who can keep his Cool And has the right temperament for the Game and that is always tested against The opposition in the game when some Defender or striker tries to put you Out of the match. |
