I enjoy logging on to FAB, I have some great friends on here I chat to almost every day, and the forums are always great for a laugh, and of course I do meet sometimes, enjoy going to clubs etc. Something happened in my personal life over the weekend and I felt a little guilty coming on here to put the events to the back of my mind. I even cancelled a meet which is unusual for me, although it was a very distracting and upsetting time.
So my question is, do any of you use this site for a release from the real world, and if so, do you ever feel guilty? |

We often use meets as a 'release valve' from the humdrum of everyday life - and NEVER have any regrets - it's fun, satisfying, meet some great people and generally get out and about for a drink and a giggle to boot - fantastic ! |

Given my situation, this is pretty much entirely escapism from real life. But I don't feel guilty about it. Me being happier means other aspects of my life benefit |

I always use this site for an escape... And usually end up going on a club rampage when I have a tragedy happen as a form of release Still have to deal afterwards, but for a while it's gone to the back of my mind |

The only time I feel guilty is lying to my mum when she helps with catering for my fab parties and she asks who is coming and how do I know them...I hate lying to her. Fab is a release for me from everyday life. When I have a meet it makes me feel so alive it's hard to explain |

Awww bless her, she sounds lovely. And I'm sure if she knew how it made you feel she would be happy for you. Not that I think you should tell her of course |

When my dad died the overwhelming support I got on here in the first few days helped me through it. I live on my own and although surrounded by people they can't be with you all the while. If it helps you get through a difficult situation then that's good |
