Status updates cause some people to be abusive?
I'm out having a drink after work and put on my status that there were some ugly feckers in here....oh boy did the insecure ones automatically assume I meant on site and not the pub I was in lol  |

when I had my heart attack I put on my status that I had been ill and some bloke mailed me to ask why I had put it down as he for one didn't care about my health!!!

If indeed you were talking about toby jugs, it might have been better to be more specific? Communication via the written word can cause offence when not phrased correctly. I myself have been guilty of this once or twice in e-mails and messages. When I have looked at what I have written, I then realise that it was not what I intended. If that is the case for you, by all means say so. |

Context is important in a status update. I do a new one everyday, trying to be witty - it's really good brain exercise - and with space for only 140 or so letters it's difficult not to be offensive without adding a context. |

Personally we try our best not to associate with people who feel they need to be rude to others for no apparent reason on their status..... Speaks volumes to us about the person writing it,..... As I was taught as a child if you got nothing good to say then say nothing is best !!!!! Just our opinion !!!!!  |
