Waiting in hospital waiting rooms

Mostly in GU24

I'm waiting to see a consultant in clinic. However, I've heard whispers about that he's not in today. 25 minutes after my appointment time nobody has yet told me.

This is my third wasted journey for the same appointment. I wouldn't mind but the problem seriously affects my swinging life! Don't these people realise I've got fucking to do?!

NHS for me this afternoon gets 1/10. They only got 1 because I've got a chair to sit on.

Such a waste of time

That is all.

Horsham

It happens everywhere, I used to go to a clinic at St. Helens hospital for an eye injury. The appointment would take half an hour, with an hour to two hour waiting times.

It's not an excuse. But at the moment lots of staff are being dragged away from their normal duties to help on wards ect....with the winter pressures making most hospitals run at near breaking point I think we have more of this to come.

Having recently had a few years of check ups and treatment, I have spent hours waiting in various waiting rooms to be seen, then have my bloods taken, then another for a scan. I understand waiting frustrating but, it is worth it in the long run.

I saw a research fellow in the end. She had ordered some tests: a very specialised ultrasound and a defecating proctogram. The thought of that makes me cringe and fills me with dread but I bet I could sell videos of it lol
