East Grinstead

Maplin looks expensive compared to amazon

Saw some in a 99p store that might suffice while decent one arrives

Make sure you specify its a DSL cable not ADSL as there is a difference

Just don't ask the staff for help - they're next to useless.

Such a shame, Maplin used to be such a great shop - but then i'm going back to it's origins when they had one shop in Southend and were an electronics components supplier.

You can either get it cheap! Or get it convenient but rarely both.

"You can either get it cheap! Or get it convenient but rarely both."

As with most data cables, the delivery speed of the service will give out way before the transmission speed of the cable, unless you're transferring over massive distances.

Same with HDMI...£5 cable or £200, makes no difference.

Hi-Fi speaker cable on the other hand is a different matter but even that is subject to the usual diminishing returns.
