This is not swinging related. Men, you might get bored, but feel free to pitch in with advise.
I'm going to a wedding in May. One of those posh things with wedding breakfasts and lots of speeches and stuff.
I have purple hair. Very purple hair. And will most likely be closer to a full sleeve tattoo then not by May.
What sort of colour dress(es) do I need to be looking at. Previously I would have gone lilac/pale pink, but with purple hair? I think it will clash.
In short, I am crap at this dressing thing. So please help with ideas and colours etc.
Much appreciated!! |

Pale grey or a very light pink would work, with a simple design. If it's the same colour as your hair then that would be perfect. And you can pick up a shrug to match the exact colour for not much money on Amazon if you want to cover the tat a bit; I have 4 in various colours I sometimes use for work if I think the ink might need to be less conspicuous.
Or go full clash and pick teal or turquoise. Vibrant at a wedding is a good thing in my book. |

From school art lessons, admittedly a long while ago, i understand that purple and orange are complimentary colours.
Hat : you look good in that purple dress.
Dress : that shade of orange suits you Hat.
Hat : why thank you. |
