This morning I woke up and there was half an inch of water all over my kitchen floor.......
Looks like a t junction on a water pipe had been leaking so after moving half the kitchen round, ripping the wall out to get to the pipe, and then calling the plumber 30 mins later the drip had stopped.....
Thank goodness for the plumber shame I am a 100 quid lighter and there was water all over the floor(lucky it's titled floor) |

Errrr hate to be a party pooper. But work doing insurance repairs and if the water has managed to get under the tiles expect them to start lifting in a week or two.
Maybe worth hiring a dehumidifier for a week to dry up excess moisture
But remember to keep doors shut and don't have washing up bowl full of water etc coz the dehumidifier will draw that up before moisture trapped under flooring.either way unless you lucky, chances are you will have to get insurance involved. |
