So I've just finished watching the first ghostbusters film with my young ones and were about to dive into the second one. What films do you consider essential viewing for kids? |

Back to the Future.
Star Wars.
The original Superman films (with Christopher Reeve)
I've shown my kids a lot of films from my younger days - and earlier.
One of my 7 year old boys favourites is Smokey and the Bandit - but then he loves the Trans Am in it - good lad. |

"Labyrinth, always loved it when our school played that to us at the end of EVERY year!! "
This would be mine, always loved it. It's such an amazing film, the husband doesn't like it though which does cause some issues haha he'd choose back to the future ghostbusters and indiana Jones |

I love labyrinth, my 29 year old brother is still scared of the puppets that swap their heads.
Good call with indie! There's so many I forget them.
Done Disney and Pixar, Goonies is a fav too |

"Ghostbusters 3 is going to have an all female cast in the leading roles, get in!"
It's a reboot and it's going to be shit.
That annoying Melissa McCarthy's in it.So it'll be fat jokes aplenty. |

The original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, great for a kids imagination. The Goonies too, don't think there's a soul alive who watched that as a kid and didn't like it. And, I don't mean that literally before knickers get twisted.
And just a random one of mine because a musical should always be included and a little different, well, The Little Shop of Horrors I'm sure would go down just aces.
