Dear Sydney University, I would like to thank you in omitting me from your research.

"Pardon my ignorance, but why naked...lol?"
Technically I believe it raises awareness of cyclists and demonstrates how little there is between their bodies and the tarmac, compared to a driver in a metal cocoon. There is also the chance to highlight the ecological aspects of thousands of people putting their bikes on their car and driving half-way across the country to attend.
It allows the Daily Mail to tut disapprovingly, whilst showing pictures of naked women.
But for some of us, it's just on our bucket list of one of those things you just have to try!

Did this ride in 2011 it was such fun there were naturists, new age, greens all great people and riding around a big city naked is exhilarating more fun than the beaches or my back garden and the body painter she drew two eyes on my bum |

The organisers need to pull their finger out for next year. We would have gone had they published the date earlier.
Somehow driving all the way down to Brighton to protest against car culture doesn't seem right.
