a lot of people know that I am quite unlucky with coming down with weird and wonderful things.. So when I was feeling really bad Friday night I took myself down to a&e on Saturday morning
Result being I was admitted
Just had first consultation with the doctor and the are saying it could be a clot of some sort which is unlikely, they are leaning towards thinking it could be pneumonia which has taken me by surprise!
No man flu jokes ever again!!!
So if I bore the pants off you for the next few day... I'm stuck on a hospital ward |

Sounds like you did the right thing!
One hint from a hospital frequent flyer: keep the nursing staff sweet! It makes a hell of a difference to your stay. Ask visitors to bring in chocs or biccies etc.
Hope it gets sorted soon. |

Well I hope they are looking after you in there ... I had a year last year not being well and in hospital 5 times with kidney stone and had over 100 small pieces taken out so I was told and the stent I had for most really hurt me ... But thank god I am now well again ... So lets hope Fabio they get to the bottom of what is wrong with you and sort it. |

Well I may as well give you a general update... Still in hospital, it is pneumonia but has also affected the lungs with fluid so basically I am waiting for a radiologist to Start draining the fluid... After they do that I should feel a lot better....
In football speak I ask the gaffers how long I am likely to be out in total. They are say 6-8 weeks so basically out till Easter |

Good luck mate, my brothers had it three times, twice double, he's "bronchalitic" and seems to get it after very bad colds.
Chin up he's usually back at it after a few weeks, it's not usually as bad as the worst case scenario the docs give you. |

Right... Suppose I better update
Right as you know I had the fluid issue that was caused by the pneumonia... So it was going to have to be drained
Normally this would be drained thru a hole they would put in the front and put in pipe to drain
Mine... Not so simple! Because of where the fluid was lying they have had to go it via my back... It feels like I have a knife in my back
So... Hopefully out some time next week and take it really easy work wise |
