It makes me laugh tbh. My new friend invited me round her house. Her living room was full of expensive stuff and very clean but when she went in and out the kitchen she kept closing the door behind her. Her kid went in and left it open. She told him off for it.

From what i saw it was full of clutter all crammed in. Haha

think its to do with the way we are brought up, when I was a kid I was always told don't be a show off nobody likes a show off type thing.

thing is no matter what people like to brag about you know they still have problems same as anyone else though.

I've met some judgemental folk in my time, quick to slate others and to talk up their own game...let 'em be that way I reckon.....give someone enough rope and they'll eventually hang themselves with it.

No doubt some will be on here claiming they're more humble than most too

I know a few people like that... Have hidden more on my Facebook feed than I follow because of it! Think some people enjoy the attention, whether for good or bad reasons

It is of course possible to go the opposite, I too have been brought up to be modest and in my daily personality have taken it too far x

Also a question , what would the above commentators opinion be about athletes who do try to be better than everyone ?

For me it's the bragards who pretend to be better

I would guess that in most cases we all have something we are better at or want to be better at than another , it can be a source of pride if not bragged about

Not saying above comments are wrong , adding some balance before perhaps the comments become a caricature of that which they lament ?

There are people who will never discuss their very genuine achievements which they could truly be entitled to feel proud because they fear being associated with the bragards fairly criticised above xx
