The Mrs was thought to knit a few weeks ago by a friend and when she came to do it the other night she couldn't remember how.

I thought, ill go on YouTube, learn it and teach her the next day. Before I knew it, it's 2 am and knitting away and I'm actually quite enjoying making myself a scarf.

anyone else or am I just way old for my time

Ha, no I like to knit, now and again. Not done it in an age, though, and can only make things like scarves. I can do basic crochet too, but nothing extravagant there.

It's a nice distraction from smoking, going to see how this scarf comes out and then maybe try something else. I'm sure I'd be able to work it into a pic on fab

Taught myself to crochet a year ago from YouTube videos. I'm totally addicted now though and have quite a hefty yarn stash and about 7 things on the go, currently making my mum a poncho!! It's lovely x
