Changing my phone number tonight but to be able to use any adult sites I have got to go into a Three store with some form of ID and get the block removed. Such a pain! And I've got to ask in front of a crowded shop most likely. |

You can download an App called Hola that will bypass the block |

You don't have to stand there and say "oi take me block off I can't watch me porn" you know, it could be for gambling or any other reason like certain videos on YouTube! |

I had to call O2 to get adult sites unblocked. Only those over 18 are allowed a phone on contract so I struggled to understand the thinking behind the block??
Annoying! |

What's the problem with this? Are you ashamed of being interested in sex and adult themed websites?
Be bold, stand tall, have no shame. |

Vodafone requires going in store/card or something, but after hunting around I found a tech support live chat on the official website. Asked if those guys could do so and voila, sorted.
Saved me having to speak or get off my ass. Might be similar for the other carriers |

You can ring 3 and they will do it over the phone with a credit card if you want...
However the staff in their shops are really good and don't make you feel awful at all (it's how I had the block removed from my phone). |

"Bloody content block!
Not a day goes by without it randomly turning back on. My only gripe about the service with EE "
Just go into the shop and ask them to take it off, they won't ask why, none of their business anyway. Done in 24, I'm with EE too.

EE seems to have a major issue With the content block. It's well documented, very regularly, sites are blocked for no apparent reason even when content block is deactivated, freedome app and others alike get around this frustrating problem. |

Yet my work phone is also EE but through another provider and have no issues at all!! And with phones 4 u dead I'm stuck with this issue of arguing for another 9 months |

"I sporadically get the same with EE. Usually restarting phone works. Doesn't happen at all when using home wireless network.
Hids"
They've changed the wording when the content lock comes up now. They advise to turn phone off and back on or do the same with airplane mode. It solves the problem about 10% of the time |
