You need a capital L at the start of the last sentence

Titz Towers, North Notts

A friend and I both applied for a proof reading job with a legal firm when we were made redundant a few years ago.

At my interview I was handed a sample to do a practical on. I went through it, but couldn't resist making an additional note to the phrase - 'in today's silicone enhanced society....' I noted, he means silicon, but I feel an argument can be made in his favour. I didn't get the job.

My friend, who is the most pedantic person I know, thought that the covering letter attached to the application form was a secret test and so went through it like a dose of salts, sending it back with his comments.

He didn't get the job, either.
