anyway...... talking down the pub and everyone seemed to know either roughly what their average score is... or their highest score (the moment of ultimate glory!!!)
so.... either a) what to do roughly average... or b) whats your highest score.....
and discuss...

Last time I went was a couple of years ago with Minxie & Frenchbambi, didn't score very many that day 
Used to go a lot in the 80's think ma highest was around the 200 mark, but like Obi most of us were too pissed to remember |

Reading this thread I would say my experience is similar to most.
It isn't the sport of the Gods, nor of geeks. It is the sport of the pissed!
Top score ever (yes...pissed) was 230 ish as far as I remember. Normally 160-180 is a decent score for me. Played against a good "league" player once (ok on second thoughts maybe it is sport of the geeks). He scored like 280+ and apparently that was normal! |

It depends on my shoes and how much I'm laughing. I've won games but gawd knows how. I walk better in heels than in bowling shoes and just get the giggles too much, as I slide myself down the lane. |

just before xmas went with daughter never played it before in my life
all i got told was where to put your fingers in the holes no comment you ladies
i did clock in 2 matches played was 70 points but i have a roll of 29mph down the track of the bowling alley average was 25mph
and i got 3 strikes in the matches played |

Best 211, average 160-170.
Was playing at Centerparcs once, was on for my best ever after about 6 frames, gauranteed, when the f***ing electrics went off.
Yeah sure, they reset the frame, a full frame but not the score.
Bastards.
