Trying to set up and run a monthly childrens disco event and my costings and support by the community are amazing!

Im a simple girl to keep happy
Im not wanting these Disco's to be profit making,, just want them to be cheap so everyone can attend a fun event.
one DJ quoted £80.. meaning with hall hire id need to get approx 75 children through the door
just been quoted by a local guy 1st 2 disco's free, then he'd do them for £20 a night as its for the kids..
what a gem!
means even if each child paid £1 entry we can venture into a buffer fund, if the numbers increase with word of mouth we can either reduce cost of entry or donate money to a charity |

Could you plough any profits into further events? Parent and child away days maybe or some such thing?

Im not wanting to run before i walk so to speak.. thinking about hosting free Disco's if the buffer fund ever got to that stage.. like a Xmas one and 'hire' a Santa if we couldnt rope in a volunteer
bulk buy some 99p selection boxes as a gift.. so have a few idea's but like i said i do not want to run before i can walk.

Yesterday I tried to set up a cannon wireless printer without the assistance of a magic button on my router.
Took it back to shop today and bought a HP wireless printer.
Insert disc and hey presto! Easy! |
