Nothing really, you could try all the old wives tales in the books but it boils down to controlling the symptoms, paracetamol for the aches, decongestant medication, fluid intake and good quality rest when you can. |

Your immune system will kill it off. Keep your immune system in good condition by eating a good diet full of vitamin rich food, drinking plenty of water, not smoking, and getting enough sleep.
Echinacea can help apparently. |

Hot bath, steam inhalation, lots of hot drinks eg. Honey and lemon, painkillers, healthy food, vitamin c boost, plenty of fresh air and bed rest, maybe do what I did once to sweat it out - thick socks, 2 t shirts, hot water bottle, in a sleeping bag and sweated it all out.
You can't kill a cold cos the virus mutates too quickly so all you can do is boost your immune system to fight it an alleviate the symptoms.
It's horrid being ill |

Nothing kills a cold. It is a virus for which we have yet to find a cure.
You can, however, alleviate the symptoms. Decongestant and paracetamol are most commonly preferred. |
