Tremenedous song. The most recent one for me was Istanbul, They might be giants. Can't remember where I heard it though but it was in the last couple of weeks. |

Amersham |
Heard this in a lift last week and found myself Shazaming it.
Must have looked a bit odd to the other people as I wave my phone to the speaker.
The Aloof. One Night Stand

If you like strings in your songs you'll love this. |

Brought out a few golden oldies at a gig last week that we used to play all the time.
Human leagues don't you want me, Soft cell's Tainted Love - the 12" version and the Communards Don't leave me this way. Top tune that one.
Need to bring a few others out of mothballs |

Wah! - I got my balls felt over the top of my jeans, for the first time as a 13 year old to that song! Happy memories.
I've heard two this week from the eighties I had forgot about, they are brilliant!
Party fears two by the associates
And
Duel by propaganda
Hoofing! |

I love all those songs (even though I'm not really old enough to) my mum used to blast them out when I was really young |

I would call you up every Saturday night
And we both stayed out 'til the morning light
And we sang, "Here we go again"
And though time goes by
I will always be
In a club with you
In 1973
Singing "Here we go again"
Simone
Wish I was sober
So I could see clearly now
The rain has gone |

"I'm listening to Absolute 80's now.
Howard Jones ~ What is love
Thompson Twins ~ Love on your side
"
Ah The Thompson Twins - first album I ever bought, "Into the Gap", solely on the basis of Dr Dr, raging hormones and a crush on Alannah Currie |
