"You're probably right
It was heart warming to see so many people brave the cold yesterday to demonstrate peacefully. "
It was emotional watching it and im glad it wasn't only Paris.Would have been nice to see marches in more countries |

I think the papers the next day bottled it, I can see why, if I were an editor I wouldn't publish any of these cartoons UNLESS Everyone did.
The fact that we don't all draw pictures of Mohammed is due to fear not respect. |

"Has anyone viewed actual YouTube clips or the police officer getting shot, (apparently point blank) yet no blood ??????????"
Oh god I wondered when it would start. After the Boston Bombs the tin hat brigade were immediately on the case. It's taken a bit longer fit them to crawl out this time but it seems they are here now. |

Je suis Charlie or I'm hypocrite... All life matter ??? really ???
at the same time lunatic assholes were killing 13 people in France, over 2000 Nigerians were reported to have been killed by Islamist militants. What makes one massacre more newsworthy than another? Je suis Charlie, or why Western life are more important than African ones? |

Re bullets,
They were apparently using a Kalashnikov, I'm sure there would of been blood, no tin hat brigade here, just not easily fooled by our media. They wear ski masks to hide their identity, yet leave a ID card,,,,,,,,, hmmmmmmmmm |

Agree. Very convenient for a massively unpopular government. Not that there aren't thousands of Islamofascists in Europe-there are-but the reality is that it's the result of the training and funding that Western governments have invested in these extremists for their own policy objectives, be it Afghanistan; Iraq, Syria, Libya...to name but a few. |

I don't think or at least hope it's not as binary as that.
I'm sure it's possible to be against all forms of violence and terror, support the ideals of democracy, and also respectfully disagree with those who use their freedoms to purposefully offend others I.e Dieudonne?

it didn't let me reply to you on the forum but I sent you a pm...
Dieudonné didn't get the same freedom of speech as Charlie Hebdo... so it is amusing me when people bring the freedom of speech on the table but only when it is convenient to them .... |

Yep - just received.
I completely agree that there is a certain hypocrisy... It ought to be Freedom of speech for all... And anyone ought to be allowed to express their dissatisfaction if they disagree with what's being said.
One does not have to *be* Charlie Hebdo nor Dieudonné in order to completely abhorr terrorism. |

They're coming to get you , you know. They told me. It's the illuminati and you've asked to many questions. Lord Lucan has been assigned the task and George Bush will dispose of your body.
Be careful out there. |

"Think you may be missing the point. .....
a french woman said on sunday 'I don't agree with what you are saying, but I respect your right to say it'.

Did she make that up. It's a good quote, I think it may be used again. |
