Ok we have this every time and I and HPC end up sounding like parrots.
People are allowed to post on the forums as long as they stick to the rules set. If someone pisses you off then may I suggest you don't even open the thread if they have started it, and ignore any of their posts.
If you can't do that and have to make nasty or snide remarks every time they post, then people will start getting banned, as the warnings have already been made the last time.

Sometimes that isn't so easy if someone (I'm not referring to ANYONE in particular here ok lol) starts 15 threads when they're bored at silly o'clock, or decide they are on a mission to have the last word on every thread for the first two pages.
It's very difficult to ignore someone when that happens, although I've learned to switch the PC off and come back 24 hours later. Shame that. I like it here.
Notts: I have nothing against you, I think you're a bit wierd but harmless with it. Welcome back, from wherever you've been. |

Does that depend on who it is who starts the threads? different rules for everyone?
Sorry bigbad but I am going to use you here.
Bigbad started quite a few threads the other night on the trot, I didn't see anyone complain......granny started a few today, I didn't see anyone complain?
People don't have to name anyone as it is perfectly clear who some people don't like.....BUT that is yours and their problem, not the person you don't like. |

I have done exactly that my self on more than one occasion. Bumped up threads and put up or bumped 40 goodnight threads when board so its not just one person.
Personally i like a bit of variety on here and if i don't like something i make an effort to leave it.

I like a varied forum with input from all different people. If I log on a see a page full of threads all started by the same person I usually look at a couple of them, answer one or two then log off. I find it a little same-y, if you know what I mean, and I prefer variation. It all filters off the front page eventually and that's when I start to post again. Either that or I'll go dig a few old threads out from way way back and kick start them.  |
