I kinda guess the fact the JC is paid a publically funded salary creates a situation where his behaviour must meet certain standards ,,,,, whereas the people involved in making a movie using equity raised through no conscripted funding only have the consideration of the potential marketability of its content .

seth mcfarlane's style is to create characters and emphasise the characters idiocy or bigotry or both. he then uses these characters as mirrors to reflect the idiocy and bigotry back at the audience (mostly americans), most people get this joke that he is playing, however, the real punchline of the joke is the idiots and bigots in the audience usually fail to see that he's taking the piss out of them ..... jeremy clarkson is just a fat sweaty racist
