I've not had any full sex for over a year that's gotta be a record, I reckon I must seem like a freak on here but need a good connection and won't ever make the first move. I'm outgoing but also shy until someone makes that move so I'm a freak right or are there others like this?? |

Last time that I had sex was April...... 2005. No confidence due to women saying I'm skinny, too skinny, very skinny, needs to grow a chest first. All because of small pecs. I've heard it all before. Usually end up as the cute friend. Do want to go to the gym but there's other things going on in my life at the moment. With sex, I've given up. Guess I win the freak award. |

I think I was concentrating on other parts of my life, it lost any importance to me at that time. Mind you, the guy that ended the sex drought, is still one of my best friends! |

I don't feel like we're freaks anymore there's quite a few of us long waiters. I split with my partner of 10 years when I was 7 months pregnant, I did have sex with him the day I was due just for his sperm to get things going but that was oct '09 The next time I had sex was august 2011. I don't know accurately how long my longest dry spell was......err....couple month I'd say probably.....

I get severely sexually frustrated if its been more than a few days  . Longest break in the last 10 years has probably been three weeks max and that was due to surgery or illness. I may have a problem ? |

I couldn't imagine going more than a couple of days without getting severe withdrawal symptoms. The longest I've ever gone without is 2 months and I seriously struggled.

In my case, I definitely was concentrating on other (so called) more important things. I abstained for just under 9yrs and it didn't bother me in the slightest, I just seemed to go off sex completely.
I agree with the poster I quoted, my drought-ender is now definitely my best friend, even though we've had almost a year of not being sexual together. I am sure that if he was asked, he would tell you that I spent 2yrs (with him) making up for lost time and now, I thoroughly enjoy sex and my sexuality, plus I've accepted my size and don't have anywhere near as many hang-ups about myself as I used to  |

I've gone about 18 months without. I became a pregnant, single parent and then had a baby to look after. Didn't have time to go look for anyone to have sex with and didn't want to focus on a relationship with two young kids to look after. Did miss sex but had more important priorities at the time.
When i was in a long distance relationship i was sex deprived for almost two years (only ever got it once or twice a month), never doing that again. |

We still had to live together though in the same house and I'm neither heartless nor stupid enough to have brought anyone home so was happy to be patient and wait until I had my own place.

I went without for 2 years(my choice). Treated myself to a one night stand with a younger man, then went without for another year. Met someone who i ended up marrying, then he went off sex and was lucky if i got it twice a year. Still not getting as much as i'd like, but i agree when you're not getting any you don't miss it. |

It is hard to Imagine in fact more than that really (even) for me thou I have made penetration with partners I have never had full sex in over (20 years) thats largely due to I,m certain on lack of partners during That period of time but I don,t feel Bad for it at all it gives me all the More reason to find the right person Hopefully it works out for the better Long term and onward its surpriseing How time creeps up on you but even now I,m gob smacked when ever I think About it.  |
