Get ready cos a new weather system is rapidly devolving in the sea, really strong winds will pic up, sever gales, gusting 100mph at worst cause transport disruption as well. We had heavy rain this morning, more to come the next few days. |

"The wind is really picking up now here. "
I can hear it gusting. Not too bad here yet. I remember in the 80s sleeping through the bad storm, waking up to see big trees blown down. After that they culled some |

That must be it. We all slept through it. Walked my children to school and lots of trees were down on the central reservation of the dual carriageways we cross. It's not a really wide road,I'm surprised no buildings were hit. They cut the rest down after that |

Wasn't that when Seven Oaks lost six of it's famous oaks, as I had family living there at the time.
It really does sound horrid outside now! I hope everyone stays safe today. |

Yes it was, it sounds bad out there at the moment. Might wander down to the seafront and check out the waves!!( from a reasonable and safe distance of course) |
