So it was my birthday Tuesday (cue party horns) arranged with our vanilla friends to meet for a few drinks. We al invited a swinger couple that we've only met on social levels so we class them as friends.
In our vanilla friends eyes they don't want to meet us for obvious reasons well the excuse was, they're strangers and it was only supposed to be the four of us and having a cry.
Oh it's also there night out too, because apparently she arranged it. Let forget it's my birthday drinks ay :p
We can't tell what the problem is really, more the merrier on the social side I say I like to have friends around me on special occasions.
I'm genuinely starting to think they may be getting a little jealous. Anybody else had a similar situation or have I made the mistake of befriending a bloody idiot?!
Oh and we haven't arranged to meet the couple for sex just a drink |

It's a birthday drinks party. You invite people. If they don't want to go, that's up to them. Those who go and disrespect the hosts in any way, don't come back. Doesn't sound like you've done anything wrong. |

I regularly meet with a girlfriend for coffee or lunch, if either of us want to invite anyone else we run it past the other first, neither of us ever say no. Without hearing the full story I don't know why they've said what they have but at face value it does seem a bit choosy. |

Not everyone wants to swing so why would it be jealousy? Did they know they were a swinger couple? Perhaps they were worried you'd try an entire them in to having an orgy and that made them uncomfortable?
It was their night out too, did they have to arrange childcare etc?
Happy birthday btw |

They probably just wanted a chat and a drink. Swingers talk about sex all the time, rub their crotches in people's faces and flash their bare genitals in public places. |

I have a friend who gets jealous when I go out with other friends. When ever he arranges a night out he specifically tells me who is going and says can we keep it at that and not invite anyone else. |
