"If you wait until later on in the year after I have both my half sleeves and maybe a couple more see how manly I look from the pics "
Well I know how manly you don't look in the flesh |

"Heavy tattoos? What are you using for ink - Blue Circle?"
I just mean a shit tonne of tatts - colour or grey and white, makes no difference. Just noticed more and more pics loaded up. Some I second guess myself. |

If they went to a decent tattooist in the first place then they probably will, might need a bit of touching up occasionally. |

I doubt I will look good when I'm old regardless so who cares "
I think tattoos look better with age, especially on weather beaten skin. |

Im heavily tattooed & am not masculine. Tattooing is a form of art and done right can look beautiful.
Its a choice & Im happy with it. If a man doesn't like it then Im not forcing myself on him & I hope he would respect & not be rude about my ink, DDD x |

I like the large tattoos that start on the thigh and come across the waist and back. Not a fan of sleeves on anyone, let alone women and small individual ones look a bit half hearted.
And if shes any kind of lady she won't be walking around with bare arms. It could cause a riot! |

"In a few years it will be so uncool to have tattoos.
Something only your Grandad / Grandma has.
Then you can all go through pain and expense having them removed."
Or as an elderly guy I could keep my clothes on and stop wearing such revealing outfits |

I reckon it has always been cool to have tattoos and always will be.
There will, however, come a time when it's no longer trendy. |

"do they make them look more and more like men?
discuss..."
I think the important part to consider here... is that most women who are heavily tattoo'd probably don't give a fuck what you think they look like. |

I only care if you like me and have something positive to say. Compliments always make me smile.
If you don't like me, what I do or the way I look, please keep it to yourself. I've been kicked hard enough in my life to not want any more of that.
Thank you |

Ah! You assume we get them for reasons of fashion....no....we get them because we enjoy them, not the rest of the population...
Also, given they've been in fashion in some form or other for thousands of years, what makes you assume they'll just drop out of fashion? Are you a futurologist? |

The smug old gits will be dribbling in their chairs laughing at how sensible they were in their youth that they didn't get inked
The inked old gits will be smiling remembering the reasons behind their old wrinkly tats....probably still fucking each other too...
I know which camp we will be in
If people don't like our art they can fuck right off tbh.....probably not the sort of people we would like to spend time with anyway.
Big appointment for a day n half in a couple of weeks for an awesome his n hers deal...plus more in march

Funny how you change over time eh
I was like the "they will regret it" merchants on here (undoubtedly un-tattood)
I used to say I will never have a tat because there is no artwork I would want on my skin forever!
How utterly wrong I was...
Each one of mine has meaning and points to a period in my life...I smile when I notice them
And that's a point...after a while you don't even notice them...they become you....that's why it's addictive I think.
My only real regret is not doing it earlier in life but there were constraints (perceived not real)
Love

I have 3 the first 14 years ago
and want more, but only at the right time, not as a fad because it’s the in thing.
As long as they mean something to the person then design or location is irrelevant.

I wouldn't say tattoos make a woman manly, if she's manly she's manly end of really. I do however hate to see none alternative people covered in ink. There are a few really chavy models covered in alt looking tatts and it just looks stupid imo. Chavs with piercings bug me too though. Ooh so do the ones who dye their hair bright colours. Nothing is sacred anymore |

Why are tattoos only for alternative people? Everyone has a right to express themselves or note important stages in their lives whatever their dress sense or lifestyle choices.

I've said it before and I'll say it again! When I'm an old bid.. I'll look at my tats.. And recall memories, they all have meaning. I also think when I'm a dribbling old bid... The last thing on my mind will be, what do people think of my tats? I'd say I'd more likely to be thinking... Ffs when are they going to change this shifty nappy... And who the fuck are you?? Tats will be irrelevant |

Chavs with skulls or what not is the kind of thing I'm talking about, it's retarded. Plus probably maybe only 50% or tattoos have a meaning anyway. My friend has 15 now, none mean anything x |

My wife and I both have chameleons logos. It's where we broke the ice and first started swinging.
Every time we see them it makes us smile. Only swingers would know the significance and only swingers would get to see. Mines on my ass!
My flowers and butterflies? Meaningless. I just think they're pretty. |

And who decides what women and men are supposed to look like?"
She's gotta point there |
