What do you actually class as that though? Is someone you chat to and then they decide not to meet a time waster? Or is it someone making a choice? |

Chatting then deciding not to meet
Arranging to meet and then cancelling in advance
Deciding at the meet that you dont want to play
I dont think any of these are timewasting, just choice.
I would only count it as timewasting if it was a confirmed meet and then just a no-show, without letting the person know. |

well put.I only class someone as a timewaster if they do just that- not show up and with no warning at all so you are left there waiting, in my experience then having no time to really find another meet |

like diamond, for me it is only timewasting if i had a meet arranged and sorted and they didn't show up.... I have had people cancel a few hours before as sometimes real life gets in the way... |

A timewaster is not someone who wont reply to an email or someone who changes their minds about meeting or even if a meet is cancelled at last min.
To me a timewaster is someone who arranges to meet and doesnt turn up and does not let you know they cant make it. |

Agree with above, however, I would state that many people like the idea of swinging but don't want to go all the way, hergo they should be honest in thier ads, saying they will meet and not or standing people up! should be banned staright away !! |

We agree that arranging a meet or drink n chat and then not turning up is timewasting.
Would hate to think that as we cannot meet that often due to sitters and getting over to the mainland we woul b classed as timewasters but know some would say so when we chat and can be a fair while before we get to meet up.

Someone who doesn't bother to read our profile where they would have found they are not within our meeting criteria and contact us anyway or worse those that read our profile then ignore it and contact us
ie
People who "won't meet smokers" but contact us.
People who have age criteria that we don't match but contact us.
Single males that contact us.
Single females that contact us.
Contact being mails, winks, friends invites, ok it only takes a minute to delete them but it's the principle, they are wasting our time. |

with the above, if you have aranged a meet and they don't turn up without informing you, then they have wasted your time.
if they cancel as life got in the way, shit happens c'est la vie.
it may be because i make sure that the work is put in prior to a meet and that a knowledge of each other is formed, but this hasnt happened to me yet.

i had someone last week i was due to meet and no contact and he was online so instead of waiting for a reply i blocked and deleted
i wouldn't have minded but i changed work commitments for it |

we had been on cam in the directing room a couple of times and this guy was very enthusiastically watching us,a couple of nights later he msgd us saying he needed to shoot hus load so when were we going in the cam room,we replied in about half hour,half an hour later we got 4 more msgs about 2 mins apart telling us to hurry up rather aggressively,then 10 mins later he blocked us and slagged us off to anyone who would listen. |

I'm with Diamond too: someone who doesn't turn up when a meet is arranged. It's never happened to me.
Sending messages to me when you:
Are married
Bi
Live hundreds of miles from me
Can't accommodate
Unable to commit to a social meet
Short
Dom...only wastes the senders time, not mine.
Takes no time at all to scan a one line profile and delete!  |

Someone who fails to fullfill his/her promises to do something like meeting up to have a drink or to play etc...
In addition, if someone arranged to meet me during a weekend well in advance, and subsequently pull out without so much an apology, then he would also be considered a time waster.

ive had that too, i arranged a gang bang once, at a friends house, we spend ages going thro profiles, mailing men, calling them to chat, mailing again with the address, mailing again the day b4 to confirm they still coming, invited 15 guys expecting some to not show and out of the 15 who comfirmed only the day b4 they was coming only two turned up, out of the 13 who didnt show only 1 called to explain why

A time waster is someone who deliberately takes up your time with personal messages and has no intention of taking things further but does NOT inform you that things won't go further. If they tell you they are only chatting or if their profile says they are not meeting or that they have specifics they require and you don't meet them but they still talk to you then they are not time wasters. |

But I would also class a time waster as someone who says they are one thing but when you meet them they are very different. I have met someone who was nothing like her pics which made for a very uncomfortable situation. Time wasted.

Now you see, I do find that strange.
When people send pictures of themselves taken years and stones ago, what do they expect?
Could be worse I suppose - friend of mine on another site had been talking to a "gorgeous" woman for two weeks before arranging a meet...a bloke turned up - lol!!! Strange thing - he STILL expected the meet to go ahead...bizarre!! |
