You are delusional if you think all women would nurse you better. Some would make your life such a misery you'd drag yourself out of bed to escape.

Maybe just me making the wrong choices

Do you cook the rice the same as if you were using water?

Even as an adult my Mum would drop me off soup, maltesers and a magazine whenever I was poorly. I miss that.

Homemade vegetable soup is my fave when I'm under the weather.

I wish I could say it was, then I'd get some sympathy. Actually..

Splitting headache, body aching and feeling drained. Not sure what it is.

As for the tinned soup, making the most of what I've got I'm afraid.

Brighton - even Hove!

Being in a couple doesn't necessarily mean the other person will help when you're ill.

Hot, steamy bath, hot lemon and honey drinks, painkillers, drink fluids, keep warm and cream of mushroom soup

Leave the poor guy alone if he's not well let him feel sorry for himself if he wants to. We all need a bit of sympathy every now & then.

As for getting all picky over canned soup bloody hell who starts making home made soup when they're unwell.

Crikey I'm at the point of looking down the back of a sofa for a custard cream. I've been poorly for a month now so I'm on the cuppa soups.

Do you not have friends?

My best friend on this site was bad with flu over holidays. Her daughter away at her boyfriends.

I went to see her everyday. Took her dog for walks, did her shopping, made sure she ate well as best as I could with her no appetite.

It's what friends do....especially when that friendship comes with benefits...including her caravan lol!

When I have no-one to make me proper chicken soup I sometimes have those packets of thin Knorr chicken noodle soups - they are better than nothing (or horrid gloopy canned soup, yuk, yuk, yuk!). Boiled eggs and marmite soldiers cure almost every virus too!

My ex used to bring me chocolate when I was ill - eejit!
