American audiences aren't quite as keen on Nigella Lawson as those in her homeland.
US television series The Taste is facing an uncertain future after suffering a dramatic fall in viewers. I never liked The Taste show as I like to see them cooking foods, On that you just see a spoon of food not the dish. Cant be easy making it in the USA .

I just could not get into that show at all . And really like her but like you say maybe format and others on there too.

Everytime I watch her I get distracted and cant help but think 'shes got them love eggs in again'.
Her timing seems .... .... off. As if shes reading on auto queue and its having a funny turn.
Theres a funny youtube clip out where they have editted it so she just says dirty filthy things, its quite good.
In all seriousness, I like her, and have cooked a few things of hers and theres one more I want to but struggling to get hold of the ingredients in a shop rather than online. |

Although not a big Nigella fan, if I did get to meet her, I would immediately say "On the basis that you are always looking at saving time and short cuts, do you fancy it now or later?"

I love her recipes, she makes it easy to cook. She had a hard time of it, her ex has pretty much tried to rip her life apart. I like the idea of the taste but it never worked has well as what you would have thought  |

Loads do what she has done and don't get half the nasty stuff as her . I like the woman some people go to food, some go to drink, and some drugs when unhappy. May be wrong but its out there now. |
