It's not just beards tho is it ? ...
Having never been on a site like this previously, when I first joined Fab as a single guy about 4 years ago, I was gobsmacked at the list of demands ('preferences') laid out before me.
Moreover, I was gobsmacked at the concessions that some guys were willing to make, just to get a sniff in.
I am not decrying people having preferences and choice, just commenting on the fact that newbies certainly get their eyes opened when joining.
Expectation and reality are for the most part, poles apart.
I think that is where the frustration comes in for some guys.
I do believe though that sticking around does result in positive experiences for most ... as long as they can stay true to themselves whilst balancing the criteria laid down by those they wish to meet. |

I don't like them and so don't see the fascination with men all growing one!! I know they probably aren't dirty but they seem it to me. Definitely something old men should have rather than younger men. Maybe I am just old fashioned  |

It depends on the type of beard. I don't really like the new Grizzly Adams style ones. A well trimmed beard or stubble can look really hot on certain men. |

He has to keep a little beard for work (no he is not santa, or in ZZ top) but he does keep it very tidy and clips it regular, I actually like it now, certainly has a manly look to it. |
