Her name was Christiane Lecocq.

I heard this on the radio earleir today (Friday).

It did say that in her early 20's she joined a "sports club" only to find that they (the existing members, no pun) were practicing nudists.

So, how come she was the founder then?

As I understand it, she founded the movement - as opposed to an individual club.

We have a lot to thank her for...there's no better feeling than being naked as nature intended...can't get enough of it..!
