I enjoyed it but took me a while to remember who was who and on whose side. Aside from that I like the fact it has a main plot with interesting sub plots. I like the actors,the scenery and the very good acting. I might watch the first 4 series' again before the next starts |

that is what i ws like - W is rewatching all 4 series but i thought maybe the last 2 would be enough for me to refresh my memory - is a lot going on in it |

starts of fairly slow so it is something you have to stick with.....
I think it has actually gotten better because thy have cut down on the amount of sex and violence from the first couple of series to concentrate more on the story telling..... |

I had watched the first 2 seasons before reading the books so was already a fan of the program but can see why your son might not like it if he's done it the opposite way round |

There are a lot of factions fighting for the throne,some related. I have to give myself reminders. I need to rewatch to remind myself what had happened and why |

Snow White and the Huntsman is worth a watch. I enjoy it, the dwarfs are worth a watch alone.

Its about the reconquest of what will become England from the Danish invaders by Alfred the Great, story told by Uthred, one of Alfred's warlords.
