he couldn't speak English? did that not show up in his messages to you?

I know the feeling though, it took me nearly 3 hours after getting the postcode to get a house number the other day after we'd agreed to meet at theirs. I'd given up in the end and then when they saw the meet was going to over they sent it. All turned out well though just nerves on their part.

I picked up a packet of frozen fish I found in the supermarket.. As I'm walking out the cashier said "aren't you going to pay for them?" I said "I thought it was Findus kippers..!"

Yep christmas crackers it's a gift that keeps on giving.

We all have different ways of doing things. For me it would be absolute madness to turn up at a total strangers house for sex, however, if I did I would (a) expect situations like this; and (b) thank God I lived to tell the tale!

Whoever had been sending the messages gave him someone elses address, in this case a poor man who couldn't speak English. Why on earth anybody does this is beyond me but I suppose its been a poor Christmas for television and teenagers find mum and dads password for the site.

Maybe the couple who did it, felt he was a disrespectful swinger, pushy, bolshy, wouldn't take no for an answer type, so they fob him off, who knows, we only have one side. ..

There's some tips for safe meeting on the FAQ page, link at bottom of homepage. Meeting a stranger at an unknown address is probably not a good idea.

Do you have any tips for safe meeting?

Don't forget that the only person responsible for your safety is you, so don't put yourself in a situation where a stranger can let you down. These are some tips to help:

* Don't give strangers your home phone number, your usual mobile number or your address or let them know where you work. Buy a spare PAYG SIM for your mobile and use it for initial contacts.

* Don't rely on strangers for transport, so don't agree to go somewhere in a car with someone you don't know.

* Don't turn up to strange addresses without having met the people you're expecting, first, beforehand.

* Always meet first somewhere safe and public (a cafe) first.

* Always tell someone you trust who you're going to meet, and where.

* Don't arrange meets without having spoken to the people you're expecting to meet first on phone OR on seen on cam.

* Don't invite strangers into your home.

* Don't put yourself in a situation where if someone doesn't turn up, you'll be upset. So don't travel 100s of miles and book into a hotel in the expectation of meeting someone unless you've met them beforehand.
