Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Now that we're in double figures I've moved to twenty fourteen/fifteen etc. It didn't sound right with twenty one or twenty oh one.

Depends on if you believe in jesus and that.

In truth it should be

14billion and something but that's a bit long to put up on a fridge calendar.

So 2015 has a better ring to it.

I tend to flip flop between the two. But am feeling now it should be twenty fifteen. We don't say the great war started in 19 thousand and fourteen so twenty fifteen methinks for the new year.

Brighton - even Hove!

Mildly interesting (for a sic-fi buff like me) when Arthur C Clarke was involved with the making of the film '2001...' he and Stanley Kubrick discussed what people would call the year 2001 and decided on 'two thousand and one'. I'll call next year 'twenty fifteen' although I might be deliberately eccentric and call it 'two oh one five'.
