I am getting seriously addicted to this program on Dave. It's amazing what bizarre shit people find when they have bought the contents of a lock up

I used to watch it on the one of the documetary channels on sky, very addictive viewing, but got rid of sky tv now so don't watch it. Not seen it on Dave but they probably all repeats?

I love they way they quickly add up the value of the bin and all the junk comes to a profit?

I mean, really, who would give people £200 for an old car radio...lol

"It's fake! "

Very true. Google search it and there are all sorts of law suits flying around. The producers were putting the interesting stuff in the lockers!

I'd enjoy it more if it wasn't so staged. The auctioneer is actually a stand up, amongst other things, and is touring next year, I believe.

My uncle buys consignments, I did well out of it last time as there was about £100 worth of cake boards that I can use in my business

There's an auction house (in Tooting I believe still!) that sells unclaimed baggage from airports.

You don't get to see the contents - it's lucky dip and they go for between £10-£50 dependant on the quality of the cases.

But I'd love to go buy one sometime - apparently there have been a few interesting finds in terms of designer clothes, shoes and cameras/iPods etc. !

"Think you will find they have all been searched and emptied of all valuables, watched a program on tv about unclaimed baggage"

the running up they do is illegal, by US laws, the main bidders are employed by the production company, its known what is in the bins as by US laws before the auction the renters of the bin have to be sent a full list of whats in there
