"Uncountable millions. I have to employ teams of secretaries to deal with them. Cost me a fortune.
How do know it's millions"
I just do. Possibly billions, the figures for today haven't come in yet. |

That might be a total of unread messages over a long period...... some are repeat mails from people I have answered before to say 'thanks for the mail but not from me' who continue to mail asking to meet. Some are from profiles who wouldn't be for me and it's obvious from my profile aren't for me, for example the email heading says 'In your town tonight'.
Some have just horrible headings I have no interest in opening and I guess it's just a matter of poor housekeeping on my part I don't just bother taking the time to sit and delete them. It may seem rude on my part to not respond but it's a tactic I've adopted to ensure I enjoy using the site, despite being a polite person I don't always find (about 10% of the time) that my good manners result in receiving good manners in return. Sorry not on a rant just answering your query, it's simply a matter of me not wanting to spend that amount of time answering emails. I am not snowed under with contact and for some reason I don't like using the block or filters in case I might miss something good. |

I wonder if it's the same guy who messaged me today 3 times with the same thing.. When that happensvthey get blocked!
I have none, I read straight away then go through and delete those that don't interest me every couple of days! |

Could be. I'm around your area. Have noticed a fair few guys do this, send repeat messages after being ignored but never had one do it as soon as i deleted it. |

Thanks for that, definitely food for thought on cutting down time and getting more out of the site for us. |

48. Accrued over the Christmas period. Some were part of a conversation I read on the conversation thread, some appeared overnight while I was sleeping, some just slipped off the page while I was chatting to someone. I will look at them when I get home,on the laptop |

Of course ....All those proclaiming none are likely to attract the attention of the flesh hunters, who will now jam pack their inboxes. ...excuse the pun |

"How many messages (unread) are in your inbox?
I'll start... 2"
InBox? . . I have an inbox? . . Oh you mean that thing with cobwebs all over it? Thought that was just a cellar. . . None |

None as I read and answer everything I get and then delete, the only things o retain are the last message in a conversation so I can pick it up at a later date.
But tbh I only get a few a day so it's not hard to deal with |

" What's interesting is the amount of blokes who moan constantly about no mail....yet it appears it's not that different for many couples and females ? "
I find status helps keep my inbox down, same for profile as well. If you mention you aren't chatting, or are deleting or blocking people who message then people tend not to message, you get the odd one who does but you can delete them and carry on chatting to the people you want to talk to.
I have come to the conclusion that most guys do actually read your profile. |
